We helped the client upgrade from an older version of their CMS (Umbraco) to the latest, modern platform release. The upgrade involved extensive structural changes in the system, while simultaneously opening new opportunities to securely and reliably publish public information and develop the solution further with custom features.

What we delivered in the project
Upgrade of Umbraco’s core and page layouts
Installation of the new CMS version, and rebuilding of existing page layouts and components to support changed functionality and template structures in the new version.
Migration of business logic and API integrations
Adaptation and reimplementation of business logic and external API integrations to operate under the technical conditions and security requirements of the new platform.
Data migration to the new platform
Transfer and conversion of content, media, and relational data from the older version to the new — preserving structure, links, and metadata.
Test environment and fallback strategy
We set up a separate test environment to verify functionality prior to launch and established a fallback strategy to enable rapid restoration in case of operational issues.
